DAVID M. MALEK

TAX DIRECTOR

Dave Malek joined Serra Automotive in 1989 as Tax Director. For more than two decades, the Serra organization has relied on his expertise in the research, creation and implementation of tax strategies as well as managing accounting activities.

Prior to Serra Automotive, he earned his Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. After graduation, he worked in public accounting for six years. A licensed CPA in Michigan, Dave has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants since 1985.

Dave’s corporate nickname is Black Cloud, but not because he always looks at the dark side of a situation or because he deals with dreaded tax details. It is because there is literally a black cloud over his head.
